Gina, Gina, Gina,
So sadly you have gone
You kept us on our toes and always pushed us on
Today, tomorrow - oh how you will be missed
With constant encouragement “do well” is what you would insist
both mother and father was the obligation that you chose
On your birthday was expected, delivery of the rose

Directed at both the young and the old
Sometimes you roared
Sometimes you shouted loud
But we all know that underneath all that
Your heart was proud
Your heart was good as gold

When time was up you bravely did not hesitate
A funeral plan you purchased at the going rate
On the Monday to Marks & Spencers I did go
Then to find you laying there like a light that did not glow

Mother we're really going to miss you
As our lives they start anew
So now after 70 years Stevenage is where we come to bid our farewell
Let's hope you get to meet my grandma and don't end up in Hell
(alternative ending = and don't go straight to Hell)

Since Heaven has become your home
I sometimes feel I'm so alone;
and though we now are far apart
you hold a big piece of my heart.

I never knew how much I'd grieve
when it was time for you to leave,
or just how much my heart would ache
from that one fragment you would take.

God lets this tender hole remain
reminding me we'll meet again,
and one day all the pain will cease
when He restores this missing piece

He'll turn to joy my every tear
and when I wear this necklace near
it will become my simple way
to treasure our Reunion Day.
